Sustainable Circular Economy

Sustainable Circular Economy promotes the efficient use of resources through strategies that minimize waste, extend product life cycles, and regenerate natural systems while supporting long-term economic, environmental, and social sustainability. The field examines circular production and consumption models, resource recovery, recycling, remanufacturing, eco-design, industrial symbiosis, and sustainable supply chains to reduce environmental impacts and improve resource efficiency. By integrating principles from environmental science, engineering, economics, business, and public policy, it advances innovative solutions that foster resilient economies, reduce carbon emissions, conserve natural resources, and support sustainable development.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Sustainable Circular Economy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
