Special Issue on Teaching and Teacher Education

Teaching and Teacher Education is an interdisciplinary field that investigates teacher preparation, instructional practices, and professional growth throughout the teaching career. It encompasses research on curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, learning assessment, classroom environments, educational leadership and technology-enhanced instruction. The field also examines teacher identity, professional competence, inclusive education, policy and the factors that influence teacher effectiveness, job satisfaction, retention and student achievement, with the goal of advancing educational quality and lifelong learning.
