Special Issue on Language and Education
Language and Education is an
interdisciplinary field examining the role of language in teaching, learning and
educational outcomes. It explores first and second language acquisition,
bilingual and multilingual education, language policy and planning, classroom discourse,
literacy development and the impact of linguistic diversity on academic
achievement. The field also addresses language ideologies, assessment of
language proficiency and pedagogical approaches to support equitable learning
for all students.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Language and
