Sustainable Human Resource Management


Sustainable Human Resource Management is an approach to managing people that integrates long-term organizational goals with employee well-being, social responsibility, and environmental considerations. It emphasizes practices that promote workforce development, retention, and engagement while aligning human capital strategies with sustainable business objectives. Key aspects include ethical recruitment, diversity and inclusion, continuous learning, performance management, and work-life balance. By fostering a resilient, adaptable, and motivated workforce, sustainable HRM contributes not only to organizational performance but also to broader social and environmental sustainability, ensuring that both people and the organization thrive over the long term.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Sustainable Human Resource Management. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
