Circular Economy and Sustainability

Circular Economy and Sustainability focuses on rethinking traditional linear models of production and consumption by promoting resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the continual use of materials through reuse, recycling, remanufacturing, and regenerative design. The field integrates environmental, economic, and social perspectives to address global challenges such as resource depletion, climate change, and environmental degradation. It examines innovative business models, sustainable materials, policy frameworks, and technological solutions that support long-term ecological balance and economic resilience. By aligning economic activity with environmental stewardship and social responsibility, Circular Economy and Sustainability aims to enable sustainable development and a transition toward more resilient and low-impact societies.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Circular Economy and Sustainability. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
