ABSTRACT: This paper expounds professional characteristics of biomedical
engineering in our school, and analyses some problems lying in it, emphatically
discusses advantages and the problems combining biomedical engineering with the
medical courses in order to offer targeted solutions. It summarizes the results
and problems so as to provide reference value to a new major.
