ABSTRACT: This study directly touches on the origin and true meaning of philosophy from “Philos-Friend or loving and Ophis-Deceit”which means human reasoning or lover of deceit or false wisdom(not love for wisdom),we can better explain what Philosophy is all about from this brief etymology.
