  ABSTRACT: This paper introduces the history and surveys some features of Saskatchewan Doukhobor Russian, a near-extinct variety of the Russian language spoken in the Canadian prairie province of Saskatchewan. The paper also outlines the reasons for the language loss in Saskatchewan.
