ABSTRACT: With the deepening implementation of the “AI+” action and the rapid integration of generative artificial intelligence into social life, higher vocational colleges should not only cultivate application-oriented talents who master AI technology, but also cultivate new generations who are politically steadfast, ethically conscious, and innovative. Based on Machine Learning, the core course of the AI technology application specialty in higher vocational colleges, this paper proposes the ideological and political education reform framework of “Intelligent for Good and Triple-chain Linkage” to solve the problems of “two skins” between ideological and political education and professional teaching and the absence of science and technology ethics education in the AI era. Taking science and technology ethics and scientific and technological self-reliance as the main line, ideological and political elements are integrated into the knowledge chain, the ability chain, and the value chain. Teaching reform is practiced from three aspects of teaching content design, teaching methods, and curriculum assessment, forming a mapping table of knowledge points, skill points, and ideological and political elements, and building a diversified assessment system and an operable scoring rubric for goal attainment, which provides a referential and reproducible paradigm for the ideological and political construction of AI courses in higher vocational colleges.
