ABSTRACT: The study aimed to reveal the degree to which Arabic language teachers employ artificial intelligence applications in teaching Arabic in basic education schools from the perspective of Arabic language supervisors in the Sultanate of Oman. The researchers used a descriptive survey approach with a questionnaire consisting of three axes: Arabic language lesson planning skills, Arabic language lesson implementation skills, and Arabic language lesson evaluation skills. The questionnaire was administered to a random sample of (30) male and female Arabic language supervisors. The study results revealed that the degree of Arabic language teachers’ use of artificial intelligence applications in the skills of (planning, implementing, and evaluating) Arabic language lessons was moderate (3.19, 3.23, and 2.82), respectively. In light of the study results, the researchers recommended training teachers on the use of emerging artificial intelligence applications and their use in teaching Arabic. In addition, they recommended raising awareness among educational staff about the importance of artificial intelligence in the educational process and its role in effectively achieving objectives.
