ABSTRACT: Educational innovation has become a central priority for teachers, schools, and school systems seeking to respond effectively to the social, technological, and cultural challenges of the 21st century. This paper presents a case study of Fundació Tr@ms, a non-profit educational organization based in Catalonia, Spain that promotes innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement among a network of associated schools. Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has been using collaborative teacher networks, inter-school projects, international partnerships, professional development initiatives, and leadership support, to enact an improvement model that encourages educational transformation while fostering student-centered learning and global citizenship. The study examines the organizational structure, strategic initiatives, and approaches to impacting educational outcomes of Fundació Tr@ms, highlighting how collaborative approaches can be developed to support sustainable innovation in schools. The paper also discusses current challenges facing educational institutions and explores future directions for strengthening innovation ecosystems in education.
