ABSTRACT: Digital media stems from the extensive application of digital technologies, and gives rise to the trends of mediacization, informatization and intelligentization in the media industry. As an important branch, digital media, confronted with the limitations of the development of the traditional media industry, plays an increasingly vital role in breaking new ground. At present, the media industry is undergoing a critical period of transformation and development. In the face of the shortage of digital media talents and the somewhat lagging of talent cultivation approaches, it is essential to accelerate the transformation of talent cultivation approaches to achieve the shift from “converged media” to “intelligent media” and to reconstruct the development ecosystem of the media industry. This Article takes the integration of industry and education as the basic perspective, it not only provides a profound understanding of the opportunities in talent cultivation but also examines the distinctive approaches to cultivating digital media talents within the international context, it is believed that it will provide a crucial direction and basis for the cultivation of digital media talents in China and contribute to the optimization of the path of digital media talent cultivation.
