ABSTRACT: Against the backdrop of the comprehensive advancement of the rural revitalization strategy, the deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism industries has become a crucial engine driving rural development. However, a significant disconnect currently exists between the cultivation of agricultural, cultural, and tourism talents and actual industrial demands, restricting the quality and sustainability of integrated development. This study employs literature analysis, field surveys, and questionnaire surveys. Through an investigation of 92 frontline rural revitalization workers across 9 provinces and regions in China, it explores, in an exploratory manner, the demand characteristics and practical dilemmas of agricultural, cultural, and tourism talents. The research finds that the integrated development most urgently needs industrial leaders, management professionals, and tourism experts, with a strong demand for composite, skilled, and innovative talents. Survey respondents perceived the current talent supply to be deficient in professional knowledge, practical ability, and industry cognition. Based on these findings, this paper constructs an integrated talent cultivation pathway of “attracting, nurturing, retaining, and utilizing” from six dimensions: educational philosophy, program design, curriculum system, teaching models, local talent cultivation, and faculty development. It aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for rural talent revitalization and industrial integration.
