ABSTRACT: This article analyzes how the knowledge and capacities developed during an agroecological innovation process are gradually transformed into appropriate solutions, uses and benefits perceived by producers. To analyze this dynamic, the study mobilizes the theory of network value and is based on a survey conducted among 70 producers who participated in the DigiCLA project in five villages in northern of Benin. The results first show that the process has contributed to the strengthening of growers’ knowledge of Fall armyworm, in particular the recognition of the first symptoms (M = 4.26; p p p p p p p p = 0.004). Thus, the results show that the value produced during the innovation process is built gradually, from the knowledge developed to its translation into solutions, uses, and benefits for producers. However, the transition from one form of value to another remains partial, particularly in terms of the actual use of solutions.
