ABSTRACT: This study explores the implementation of Inclusive Education in three selected Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college campuses in the Northwest province of South Africa. The aim of implementing Inclusive Education in South African Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges is to alleviate student exclusion, however, its efficacy and wide-ranging implementation have drawn criticism. The aim of this study was to explore the implementation of Inclusive Education in TVET colleges adopting a qualitative approach. The question the study asks is: How is Inclusive Education implemented in three TVET college campuses in the Northwest Province? Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. A purposive sampling technique was used to select the participants from three campuses. A case study design was applied in this study. Thematic data analysis was used to analyse the collected data. This study is underpinned by Social Inclusion Theory (SIT). The study revealed that the implementation of Inclusive Education in TVET colleges remains a challenge despite the existence of inclusive programmes. The study recommends adequate funding from DHET and support to be provided to staff to develop their capacity to implement IE, online studying, and the use of technology to develop practical strategies for the implementation of IE.
