ABSTRACT: The Red Medical Culture is nourished by the civilization of fine traditional Chinese culture and guided scientifically by Marxism. It has evolved through three historical stages: the Chinese Revolutionary Period, the New China Period, and the New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. As a distinctive cultural system with strong vitality created by the Communist Party of China leading the Chinese people in the course of developing medical and health services, it integrates revolutionary culture, medical and health culture, and medical education culture. It embodies the great revolutionary spirit of the Chinese nation and the medical and health spirit with Chinese characteristics. Medical education for international students in China constitutes a vital component of China’s strategy to open its education sector to the world, and serves as one of the driving forces for building China into a major education center with global influence. It is therefore imperative to systematically explore the generative logic and contemporary value of integrating Red Medical Culture into medical education for international students in China. Against the backdrop of the new era, to explore the practical paths of integrating Red Medical Culture into medical education for international students in China, efforts should be made in optimizing the curriculum system, innovating teaching methods, enriching campus cultural activities, strengthening the construction of teaching staff, and establishing a collaborative education mechanism.
