ABSTRACT: We show that a neutrosophic random variable with fixed interval-valued indeterminacy is a deterministic scaling of a classical random variable. The lower and upper bounds of the interval introduce no independent source of randomness, and the resulting statistical and likelihood-based inferences follow directly from those of the underlying classical random variable. Consequently, the interval representation contributes no additional uncertainty or inferential content beyond that already present in the classical formulation. Thus, under fixed interval-valued indeterminacy, the neutrosophic random variable does not provide a substantive extension of classical probability theory.
