ABSTRACT: This narrative review provides a comprehensive synthesis of domestic and international research on self-disgust among colorectal cancer patients with an ostomy, covering its conceptualization, assessment tools, influencing factors, and interventions. The review aims to enhance healthcare professionals’ awareness of self-disgust in this patient population, promote patients’ mental health and quality of life, and provide a reference for future related studies.
