ABSTRACT: The inheritance status of folk nursery rhymes in Leizhou Peninsula is not optimistic. The survey results show that there are many problems in the inheritance of folk nursery rhymes in Leizhou Peninsula such as attitudes and usage, and including deficiencies in usage environment, value recognition, content updates, dissemination channels, and attention and importance, etc. The people of Leizhou Peninsula have a strong desire to inherit folk nursery rhymes, but there is a lack of action. The development of folk nursery rhymes in Leizhou Peninsula can be achieved through strengthening records, realizing the modernization of Leizhou Peninsula folk nursery rhymes, and promoting multi subject development. Multiple stakeholders should work together to promote the development of folk nursery rhymes in Leizhou Peninsula, such as relevant departments, education, business, families, and individuals, etc.
