ABSTRACT: With the deepening of the national strategy for Digital China and the comprehensive implementation of the digital education initiative, Party building in higher education institutions is confronting both historic opportunities and practical challenges in its digital and intelligent transformation. Taking China University of Geosciences (Beijing) as a research sample, this paper systematically reviews the current characteristics and prominent issues of informatization in university Party building. It proposes systematic pathways for the digital and intelligent transformation of university Party building from multiple dimensions, including institutional process reengineering, platform function optimization, system interconnectivity, data integration and sharing, and intelligent technology application. Furthermore, it constructs a functional framework for an integrated smart Party building management and service platform, aiming to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the digital and intelligent transformation of Party building in industry-featured universities and across the national higher education sector.
