ABSTRACT: This qualitative study examines how vocational training, psychosocial support, community engagement, and institutional partnerships contribute to the social reintegration of women incarcerated at the Abidjan Penitentiary Complex. The study is based on semi-structured interviews conducted with programme beneficiaries and key project stakeholders, which were analysed using a thematic approach. The findings indicate that reintegration is perceived as a multidimensional process in which economic empowerment, strengthened social ties, and coordinated post-release support function as complementary components.
