ABSTRACT: In previous work, we have studied the relationship between the evolution of basal metabolic rate and the capacity to generate structure in living organisms. We analyzed the modifications of this relationship throughout life, as well as the possible holographic description of biological physical systems. Given that changes in this relationship affect the behavior of biological variables (the virtual parameter space) as well as the environment in which they define their values (the real physical space in which they operate), mathematical formalization is necessary to unify criteria. In this way, physics and biology can be described using the same language.
