ABSTRACT: The integration of digital humanities and translation studies has promoted the new development of translation studies. By sorting out the concept, characteristics, and development stages of digital humanities, this article traces the evolutionary path of the paradigm of translation studies and argues that translation studies has entered the stage of digital turn after the linguistic turn and the cultural turn. This article focuses on analyzing the generation characteristics of the digital humanities paradigm in translation studies, namely the new trends such as the application of data-driven and computational technologies, interdisciplinary cooperation, and a global perspective. In addition, it also explores the new issues and prospects of translation studies from the perspective of digital humanities, such as the application of digital humanities methods, data-driven exploratory research, and the exploration of theoretical construction with disciplinary characteristics. The digital humanities paradigm points out the direction for the future development of translation studies and also puts forward higher requirements for translation scholars.
