ABSTRACT: As a letter, it introduces and positively evaluates Jeff Yee’s important contribution to the theoretical calculation of the fine-structure constant. The expression 1/α = 4π3 + π2 + π = 137.036 relies on a rigorously grounded physical model and strict mathematical derivation. This result is highly unlikely to be a numerical coincidence; instead, it reveals that the fine-structure constant is inherently a pure geometric constant in nature. Results derived from two independent higher-dimensional approaches within B. Feng theory provide separate corroborations for this conclusion.
