ABSTRACT: Purpose: This study aimed to verify the face and content validity of a learning scale for the organizational socialization of Experienced Newcomer Nurses and to refine the scale items. Methods: An anonymous, self-administered questionnaire assessing the content and face validity of a 75-item draft scale was administered to nursing administrators and nursing management researchers. The respondents were asked to rate, on a 4-point scale, the conceptual fit of the “Learning Scale for Organizational Socialization of Experienced Newcomer Nurses” and the degree to which each proposed item aligned with the concept. The item-level content validity indices were calculated based on the survey results. Results and Conclusions: The Learning Scale for Organizational Socialization of Experienced Newcomer Nurses was refined to 43 items, resulting in a scale with both face and content validity. Further research is required to verify the reliability and validity of this scale.
