  ABSTRACT: Although emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can rapidly restore myocardial perfusion in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), these patients still face a relatively high risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after the procedure. The inflammatory response plays a central role in myocardial injury, ventricular remodeling, and thrombosis following STEMI. This article reviews the predictive value of inflammation-related biomarkers—including C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio, systemic immune-inflammation index, systemic inflammatory response index, and red cell distribution width—for prognosis after emergency PCI in STEMI patients, aiming to provide a reference for clinical risk assessment and stratification.
