ABSTRACT: Rotating shallow water system is an important fluid model that describes the fluid behavior of large scale geophysical fluid motion under the action of Coriolis force. In this paper, we construct a kind of vortical and self-similar solution for 2D inviscid rotating shallow water system and describe its time periodic and blow up phenomena via providing different parameter values.
