ABSTRACT: Retinal vein occlusion (RVO) is a fundus retinal vascular disease under the combined action of local and systemic factors. Its etiology and pathogenesis are complex, and it is not completely clear. At present, there is no complete cure for this disease in clinical practice. The main treatment purpose is to control the progress of the disease and prevent the occurrence of serious complications (such as vitreous hemorrhage, neovascular glaucoma, etc.). This article reviews the progress in the treatment of RVO.
