  ABSTRACT: Against the backdrop of globalization and AI application, the English translation and international communication of Chinese Northern Borderland Culture are of great significance for displaying the diversity of Chinese civilization and enhancing regional cultural influence. Taking AI empowerment as the perspective, this paper reviews the connotation, translation and communication status of Chinese Northern Borderland Culture, expounds the advantages, limitations and application principles of AI translation, and points out the existing bottlenecks such as non-standard terminology, inadequate cultural transmission, inefficient communication and shallow technical application. On this basis, it constructs an optimized path for AI-empowered translation and communication from six dimensions, aiming to improve the quality and effectiveness of international communication. This study provides a reference for the high-quality global dissemination of Chinese Northern Borderland Culture.
