ABSTRACT: This paper reports on an 18-year-old patient with a slowly enlarging clitoral mass and dyspareunia years after type I female genital mutilation. The authors managed the case with complete surgical excision and confirmed an epidermoid cyst on histopathology. The report emphasizes that clitoral epidermoid cysts are a late, benign but clinically impactful complication of FGM and that excision is the preferred treatment.
