ABSTRACT: This paper studies the development of tourism in Portugal after the COVID-19 epidemics. Both the tourism industry and tourists adapted to a new normal to recover one of the most important economic sectors of Portugal. We present here the data on tourism in some European countries and in Portugal, highlighting the significant development in recent years.
