  ABSTRACT: The primary objective of this study was to examine the influence of socio-demographic, health related, and social predictors on the psychological well-being of working women. The research was conducted in Varanasi, located in Uttar Pradesh. The findings indicated that age, nature of job, type of family, income, and marital status were important demographic factors associated with psychological well-being. Both emotional and tangible support showed a positive relationship with well-being among working women in the city. In addition, physical health variables emerged as highly significant contributors. These results offer meaningful insights for the community and reinforce the need to attend to the psychological well-being of working women, who often face considerable strain while balancing professional and personal responsibilities. Provision of regular health checkups, along with strengthened emotional and material support systems, may therefore play a crucial role in enhancing their overall quality of life.
