  ABSTRACT: This scoping review aims to provide an overview of clinical handover models and standardization practices in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) hospitals. Using the PRISMA-ScR framework to analyze literature from 2014-2024, the study identifies a limited evidence base on the topic. The key finding is that the Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation (SBAR) model is the most frequently used tool for standardizing handovers, with its implementation being influenced by various institutional and individual factors.
