  ABSTRACT: The adjustment of magnetic resonance imaging parameters is a core difficulty in medical imaging technology education. Traditional teaching is constrained by limitations such as equipment availability, high risk, abstract theory, and disconnection from clinical practice. This paper systematically expounds on the teaching model that deeply integrates problem-based learning and virtual simulation technology, constructing a complete teaching path of “theoretical foundation-virtual exploration-practical verification-clinical transfer”. By designing three-level progressive PBL clinical cases and relying on a high-fidelity virtual simulation platform, the teaching goal of visualizing abstract concepts, ensuring the safety of high-risk operations, and systematizing clinical thinking in the teaching of MRI parameter adjustment is achieved. Teaching practice shows that this model significantly improves students’ parameter optimization ability, clinical decision-making ability, and self-learning ability, providing a replicable implementation framework for the transformation of medical imaging technology education paradigms.
