  ABSTRACT: In the Intelligent Media Era, technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithmic recommendation have profoundly transformed the ecological landscape of the media industry, giving rise to emerging legal and ethical issues including algorithm-driven dissemination of disinformation and AI-generated content infringement. The traditional course “Media Laws, Regulations and Ethics” is confronted with challenges such as an outdated knowledge system and a disconnect between talent cultivation and industry demands. To address these issues, the course needs to achieve a teaching transformation: upgrading into an interdisciplinary core course integrating “technology + laws/regulations + ethics”, establishing new training objectives, reconstructing teaching content, and incorporating updated legal provisions and ethical norms. Through innovative approaches such as the integration of Ideological and Political Education in Curriculum and innovative case teaching, we aim to cultivate high-quality media talents equipped with legal thinking, ethical literacy and practical capabilities.
