ABSTRACT: Introduction: Pleomorphic Adenoma (PA) is the most common benign neoplasm of major and minor salivary glands. The aim of this paper is to report a case of PA of the palate treated successfully by surgical excision. Case report: A 34-year-old man exhibited a firm swelling on the right hard palate evolving over eight years. After confirming the diagnosis of Pleomorphic Adenoma (PA) through biopsy and histological analysis, a complete surgical excision of the tumor was undertaken. Discussion: This benign tumor is mostly seen in adult patients. The most common symptom is a slow-growing, painless submucosal mass on the hard palate. Definitive diagnosis lies in the histopathological examination, and treatment is by surgical excision with wide margins. Excellent results are seen after surgery, as recurrences are uncommon. Conclusion: This case report emphasizes the need for awareness of PA’s presentation, which could significantly influence the outcome. Therefore, the histopathological diagnosis is crucial before any definitive treatment.
