ABSTRACT: The advent of sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks is set to transform the infrastructure of smart cities through the provision of ultra-low latency, high-speed, and intelligent connections. Nonetheless, these developments also reveal significant cybersecurity weaknesses that could jeopardize privacy, trust, and service continuity. This study offers a comprehensive technical and policy-focused analysis of cybersecurity concerns in 6G-enabled smart cities, investigating attack surfaces, AI-driven threats, quantum vulnerabilities, and the edge-cloud continuum. It additionally advocates for a resilience-focused paradigm that highlights zero-trust architectures, post-quantum cryptography, AI-driven anomaly detection, and supply chain integrity. The results indicate that the establishment of secure and resilient 6G-enabled smart cities necessitates a multidisciplinary strategy that integrates robust engineering, ethical governance, and proactive regulation.
