  ABSTRACT: Because of the interconnection between the cosmic vacuum with non-zero energy density and moving particles, any dynamic system that does not include the cosmic vacuum can not be a closed one. Newtonian mechanics, analytical mechanics, and relativistic mechanics have all ignored the cosmic vacuum making them are all approximate theories effective only under specific conditions. The uniform motion of a charge or massive particle requires obtaining inertial mass from an electrically or gravitationally neutral vacuum, in order to generate a vector potential and corresponding vortex field—the velocity field with neutral massless quasi-bosons moving along with the charge or particle. The so called “relativistic effects” in electrodynamics and particle dynamics are not the spacetime effects of motion, but rather the physical effects of velocity fields generated by motion vector potentials in the flat cosmic background spacetime. The gravitational vector potential in flat spacetime is an appropriate approach to handle strong gravitational processes and gravitational wave radiation of dense celestial bodies. The gravitational vector potential of an annular material flow produces an axial magnetic gravitational dipole field. Numerous compact objects are likely to be gauge gravitational field accelerators of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. The velocity field of moving particles is also one of fundamental constituents necessary for constructing quantum field theory.
