ABSTRACT: In this study, pseudoboehmite (nano-boehmite) synthesized by A Route Mineral used to adsorb of methylene blue dye solution. The effect of experimental parameters pH, contact time, temperature and initial concentration were studied on adsorption. Results indicated that the optimal pH for adsorption is 10, with the experiments conducted at a temperature of 25˚C and adsorption reaches equilibrium after 30 minutes. The optimum adsorbent amount is 0.03 g. The equilibrium data were perfectly represented by the Freundlich isotherm and the adsorption behavior can be better described by pseudo-second-order model.
