ABSTRACT: Accelerating the development of new quality-efficiency productive forces in China’s sports industry is crucial for gaining developmental initiative and shaping new competitive advantages in the sector. Through literature review and logical analysis, this study thoroughly examines the contemporary demands, strategic significance, and pathway selection for advancing such productive forces. Findings indicate that accelerating this development not only represents a key direction for promoting high-quality growth in the sports economy but also serves as a vital cornerstone for accelerating the construction of a sports powerhouse. This research holds significant importance: it can effectively propel the high-quality development of the sports industry while also contributing to the construction of a modern sports industry system. In the new era and on the new journey, accelerating the development of new quality and efficiency productivity in China’s sports industry requires following these pathways: ensuring policy support for the sports industry to establish a new development pattern for quality and efficiency productivity; leveraging technological innovation in the sports industry as a key driver to create a new engine for the development of quality and efficiency productivity.
