  ABSTRACT: This study employs a qualitative case study approach to examine the causes, impacts, and costs of dyadic conflicts within non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Kamuli District, Uganda. The research identifies key conflict drivers such as poor communication, role ambiguity, and resource scarcity, which result in significant costs like reduced productivity, decreased morale, and high staff turnover. The paper concludes by recommending proactive conflict management policies and strong leadership to mitigate these negative outcomes and improve organizational effectiveness.
