ABSTRACT: This paper applies Multimodal Discourse Analysis to study the game translation of Black Myth: Wukong. It analyzes the game’s multimodal features from four aspects: culture, context, content, and expression. By examining specific examples, the paper discusses how the game achieves a global expression while retaining the essential characteristics of Eastern culture. This provides new insights for research on game localization and holds significant implications for promoting Chinese culture internationally.
