ABSTRACT: Communication processes play a fundamental role in ensuring the maintenance of social well-being. These processes allow people to communicate with each other and share information efficiently. This allows them to stay abreast of social and political changes and make informed decisions. Furthermore, communication processes also help people develop skills such as critical thinking and the ability to build relationships. This becomes a great advantage in the digital world, as it allows people to develop the skills necessary for collaboration and teamwork. The study involves a process of reflection on the various theoretical positions and, with it, the descriptive and interpretive analysis of each, showing the progress over time. Therefore, it is evident that communication processes are fundamental to ensuring social well-being in the digital age.
