ABSTRACT: In the present paper the dependence of the self-diffusion coefficient in liquids on temperature and density is discussed. Our calculations using the molecular dynamics method show that the diffusion coefficient has a linear dependence on the temperature at the constant density of the liquid. Strong temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient appears as a result of the strong dependence of the liquid density on the temperature. The acquired results are compared with the experimental data on the diffusion in liquid argon.
