ABSTRACT: Laparoscopic appendicectomy is a gold standard procedure for acute appendicitis in the modern era. Iatrogenic injuries are well-recognized during any laparoscopic surgical procedure. The incidence of organ-specific and procedure-specific injuries is not well described and is under-reported. Here we describe a case of incidental bladder injury that was not recognized intraoperatively and yet was managed successfully with conservative management. The literature was reviewed and learning points were highlighted.
