ABSTRACT: Postoperative activity-related pain is a common clinical manifestation that affects patients’ early postoperative recovery and the incidence of chronic postoperative pain. This article reviews the current research status of postoperative activity-related pain in colorectal cancer patients, covering various aspects such as the characteristics of postoperative pain, pain assessment, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, and barriers to pain management. The aim is to provide insights for optimizing clinical pain management strategies.
