  ABSTRACT: Our relationship with nature, it’s existence and it’s impact on both our minds and bodies may be far deeper and significant than we might think and could be far more essential than our assumptions suggest. This review explores how nature influences physical and emotional well-being spending time with natural environments can reduce stress, elevate mood, and even alter how the brain functions, according to several recent studies. In this research we aim to understand why these effects occur, we will examine the Stress Recovery Theory, the Attention Restoration Theory, and the Greenery Hypothesis, where each one of them provides a unique perspective. Despite the fact that numerous studies clearly show the advantages of connection with nature and it’s benefits, the majority of studies are either self-reporting or short-term. Further research is required to fully understand these effects. In conclusion, restoring our connection with nature is more than just beneficial; it could be something we actually require on both biological and emotional level.
