ABSTRACT: The Travel & Tourism sector is a significant component of the global economy, contributing substantially to GDP and employment. Norway, known for its natural beauty relies heavily on tourism as an economic pillar. This paper evaluates the economic contributions of tourism to the Norwegian economy, explores tourist spending behaviors, and assesses the perceptions of residents on tourism’s impact. The study provides insights that can guide sustainable policy-making and development in the tourism sector.
