ABSTRACT: Chinese excellent traditional culture is the precious spiritual heritage of the Chinese nation and contains rich resources for ideological and political education. By analyzing the current situation and dilemma of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, this paper explores the effective path and channel construction of integrating the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the ideological and political education system of colleges and universities. It aims to enhance the actual effect of ideological and political education in colleges and universities through measures like optimizing the cultural quality of teachers, stimulating students’ initiative, innovating education and teaching methods, and creating a cultural atmosphere on campus. This study provides a more culturally profound perspective for ideological and political education in colleges and universities, helping students understand and inherit the core values of the Chinese nation more profoundly.
