ABSTRACT: English pronunciation varies across regions due to geographical, social, and historical factors. These variations impact language learning and cross-cultural communication. This study aims to analyze the key factors influencing regional differences in English pronunciation and their implications for language acquisition. The research reviews basic theories of English pronunciation, compares pronunciation characteristics in the UK, the US, and other countries, and examines case studies of individual differences in pronunciation learning. Findings show that geographical environment, social culture, and historical background significantly shape English pronunciation, affecting its accuracy and diversity. Understanding these regional differences is crucial for effective language learning and teaching. Future research should explore the use of technology to enhance pronunciation studies.
